EWGA is a non-profit organization that seeks to create positive change for issues important to women golfers and to promote the growth of women's golf. As such, proceeds from Seattle Chapter tournaments, raffles, and other events are donated to the charities listed below.
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf
The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is a non-profit developmental junior golf program designed for girls ages 6 -18. It was formed specifically to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships, and compete in a non-threatening environment.
The local chapter of the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club, the First Tee Seattle receives proceeds from the Seattle Chapter's drawing and auction at the Tee-Off event held in April.
The EWGA Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with EWGA was founded in 2003 to provide education and player development programs and funding to, among other programs, the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program.
The EWGA Foundation receives proceeds from various Seattle Chapter fund-raisers and donations.
